Tomato Focus — Privacy Policy

The short version: Tomato Focus works 100% offline. We do not collect, share, or sell any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

1. Who we are

Tomato Focus (package name com.tomatofocus.app) is a pomodoro timer application for Android, published and operated by AstraCore Studio (legal entity: 永平县同威商贸商行(个体工商户), Yongping County, Dali, Yunnan, China) ("we", "us"). You can reach us at daviediao@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

None. The app declares no internet permission, so it is technically unable to send any data anywhere. It contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking libraries of any kind.

Your focus sessions, settings, and tomato-farm progress are stored only on your device in the app's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you use Android's standard device backup or device-transfer features, which are controlled by your device settings and by Google, not by us.

3. Permissions the app uses

Permission	Why it is needed
Notifications	To show the live countdown while a session runs and to alert you when a session finishes.
Exact alarms	To keep the countdown accurate to the second.
Do Not Disturb (optional)	Only if you enable it in settings: to silence notifications during focus sessions. The app restores your previous setting afterwards.
Boot completed	To restore a running session after your phone restarts.
Vibration	To vibrate when a session completes, if enabled.

No location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or telephone permissions are used.

4. Children

Tomato Focus is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and because the app collects no data at all, it does not knowingly collect data from children.

5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA / UK GDPR)

Because all data stays locally on your device, you have full and immediate control:

Access & portability: your data is on your device and readable by you at any time.
Deletion: uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings — everything is permanently removed.
No sharing, no sale: there is no third party to share or sell data to.

6. Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever introduces data collection, we will update this page with a new revision date and, where required, ask for your consent inside the app before any data is processed. We will never start collecting data silently.
