WorthDay Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy describes how the WorthDay Android app ("the App", "we", "our") handles information. We do not operate servers, analytics, or advertising. The App's entire function — recording what you own, what you paid, and how you use it — runs locally on your device.

2. Information stored on your device

The App stores the following information only in local storage on your device:

• Items you record: name, brand, model, purchase price and date, category, photos, notes, and estimated resale value.
• Usage logs you create (for example, how often you used an item) and subscription details you add.
• Wishlist entries and reminder preferences you set.
• App settings such as your currency, theme, and notification preferences.

This data is stored in the App's local database and files. It is not transmitted anywhere. If you choose, photos of your items are stored in the App's private local storage only.

3. No data collection or sharing

• We do not collect, read, upload, or store any personal information on any server.
• We do not use third-party analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell or share any data — there is no data to share.
• We do not access your contacts, location, microphone, camera (unless you choose a photo for an item), or any other sensitive capability.

4. Internet use

The App works without an Internet connection. Network access is used only when you choose to make a purchase from inside the App, so the Google Play Store can complete and confirm the transaction, and to check for one-time updates such as background reminders scheduled by the system.

5. Google Play billing

WorthDay offers an optional, one-time in-app purchase ("WorthDay Pro") through the Google Play billing service. Purchase transactions are processed by Google, not by us. Google may process your payment information and purchase history under its own privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Your purchase entitlement is stored locally on your device.

6. Notifications

You can optionally enable reminders (for example, a monthly summary or a wishlist reminder). These are scheduled by the Android system on your device and are never transmitted to us. If you grant notification permission, you can revoke it at any time in your device settings.

7. Backups

You can export your own data as a file from within the App. That file stays under your control. On devices where Android backup is enabled, your local App data may be included in the device's standard system backup, which is handled by your device and Google according to their policies.

8. Children

The App is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any information from children. Because no information is collected at all, this is naturally the case.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version. Significant changes will be reflected here.
